A one of a kind necklace featuring an Australian boulder opal that has a real galactic feel. It has small sparkling blue, green, red and orange flecks swirled throughout its face. I felt like a golden shooting star was perfect to pair with it. The pendant was handcrafted out of a 14k gold casting, sterling silver sheet for the backplate of the stone and 14k yellow gold bezel wire wrapped around the stone. Hangs from a 14k yellow gold chain.

Materials: 14k yellow gold, sterling silver (back plate of stone setting), approx 15mm by 8mm Australian boulder Opal

Dimensions: Pendant measures 17mm long and 16mm wide. 1.5mm wide chain is 18" long.

Opal is a soft gemstone and should be taken extra care of knowing so. Australian opals can get wet ( with plain water) but I always recommend taking off jewelry before swimming, showering, cleaning, exercising etc.!
