Authentic Art Deco antique pendant / brooch is studded with 8 genuine blue sapphires all set in 18K yellow gold. The piece can be worn as a brooch or as a pendant. The loop for the pendant folds up and down so as to disappear if you should decide to wear it as a pin. The piece is in excellent estate condition and is ready to wear. The only flaw is that the original catch for the pin was replaced with a more modern catch and the jeweler did not do the best of jobs replacing it. The piece is not hallmarked but it is tested and guaranteed solid 18K gold. Usually the hallmarks on pieces like this are on the catch and as this was replaced so went the hallmark. The center sapphire is about .25 carats and the surrounding sapphires are each about .15 carats. The piece weighs a total of 5.5 grams and measures about 1" tall and 1" wide.
