Details: This absolutely spectacular late Victorian pin/pendant is set with an array of dazzling old European and rose cut diamonds. The diamonds are set in patinated silver-topped gold and taper in size with each ray of the star. Modern in feeling with its clean, geometric form, this versatile piece - a product of highly skilled craftsmanship - showcases fiery old diamonds whose brilliance pops against the old silver.

The pin can be removed with a clever and easy to rethread fold-down key mechanism. There is a hidden notched bale for a chain on the back of the star so it can be worn easily as a pendant when the pin is removed. This is a truly lovely, classic and very collectable piece!  

Measurements: The brooch is approximately 1 1/2" in circumference. The diamonds are 3.50ctw. Its total weight is 8.6g.
