Remember those thick rubber stoppers which hovered over your Grandma's porcelain sink? They were attached to some silver colored hefty ball chain, and that was attached to the sink.

SOOOO... The Retro Sink Stopper has come to life in a substantial size POPART #Barbiepink ,hand enameled Sterling Silver Charmer, complete with Sterling  Silver beaded  36""Toilet Ball Chain ' ( which can be worn on its own or with all of my other large scale charms)  and that nostalgic  large triangular jump ring! to slip the ball chain easily through and long enough to wrap around a couple times or wear as a lariat.

(I suppose the idea was that the attached chain would keep the stopper  from bouncing right out of one bowl into.... ANOTHER bowl...)

At any rate, I've had a life-long  fascination for rubber sink stoppers and used to move the large silver triangle (can we discuss my musical obsession?) which attached the two and I was always reminded of Calder mobiles and, naturally, this fable came to life in Sterling Silver here in my hand, as well as my heart's memory.
