A fun pair of victorian period patriotic theme earrings. Designed as a shield topped with a bezel set ruby. Centered by a diagonal stripe of white pearls and blue rose cut sapphire. Dating to the time of the civil war, these circa 1860's earrings are a scarce example of early patriotic jewelry.

Earrings test as 14 karat gold, and are gilded with a higher karat wash giving them a rich color.

Earrings measure 15mm from north to south by 10mm from east to west.
